1997 Chrome Topps Basketball Box, is it worth it?

Hi Everyone,
My girlfriend is thinking about buying this box and was wondering if it was a good deal? Any better deals out there? Thoughts?

    There are some of the same box on eBay. If you really want this box, you can save a bit by going there. I think this is the Duncan/McGrady rookie year. Also has some nice inserts. Be wary of opening Chrome/glossy boxes from this time period. Depending on how they were stored, may have some major sticking issues and damaged cards. Of course nothing against BBCE. Just saying.

    This was a $300 box not too long ago.

    Thanks, I am a little wary because I heard these cards typically stick pretty bad and worried about the condition. The star refractors are worth quite a bit of cash.

    This is the kind of box that would be fun for a group rip...I would open a few at $65 per pack for the thrill of the gamble, but wouldn’t buy a whole box
