Can I COPY WINDOWS onto a CD ? or disk ?

I am going to re-format my C drive
is there a way to copy Windows onto a disk? and how do I do that?
goto Windows Explorer? and highlight "Windows" file and drag it to my cd drive?

and how should I re-format my c drive and end up not having this cpu problem?

It won't fit on a reg. disk, you need to burn a copy of it on a CD.

I would buy Windows XP
but I dont have the money right now, my dad has already left to go oversea's again
and I'm stuck with this problem

I dont care anything about getting another version of Windows!
I just need to know if it'll work, by copying that "windows" file to a cd and then deleting windows and rebooting it from the file on the cd

well sure you can copy windows.. you can copy everything IF you have the knowledge

If your computer is infected with a virus, why copy infected files? That defeats the purpose.

linux is a 'program' like windows.. it kinda works like good ole DOS, it doesn't have that many flashy options or graphic designs like windows but it hardly ever crashes and it doesn't have like 100000000000000000000000000 bugs in it like windows has..

It's an online virus scanner. That way you know if it is a virus that your virus scanner won't be faulty or infected.

I have a cd burner and so does my friend
but I dont know if any1 has a copy of Windows

I have downloaded that housecall virus scan thing, it sent me emails saying I was virus free

autobilia- I really do believe u there... cuz I been wondering what the heck Whgn.dll was doing up running and then it went off programs running before my desktop loads

so what can I do about it

You have to replace those files, but your best bet is to re-install 98 or upgrade to XP.

I might get a copy of Windows XP from Chrispy
and if not, I could just re-format it right? or is there something simpler?

yeah, a copy can be sent to your house. i can also add xp plus and/or office xp pro if you like. how about a 600 dollar photoshop> just let me know what you may be interested in. i am also getting gta 3 in a little while, but i will have to let you know when i end up with it
