Terrible injury for Dak

Compound fracture/dislocation. I just hope it doesn't become infected. Dangerous injury

    Yea you do t want to see that happen to any player, gruesome for sure but if Bridgewater and Alex Smith can make it back so should Dak

    I can't even imagine how painful that must be.

    Once in a while i get a foot cramp at night while sleeping, and that thing hurts like yell.

    Was is a fracture? Sure looked like a full dangle-reangle break to me.

    It was a compound fracture where part of the bone was sticking out through the skin. there is a significant risk of infection in such injuries. that was part of the reason Alex Smiths injury was so severe with so many surgeries to try and clear out the infection that developed.

    If Dak can stay clear of infection, hopefully he can be ready for next season.

    I didn't read/see any of the injury reports until now. Yeah, nasty stuff, hopefully they got it set clean last night in surgery.
