Lebron Rookie Guidance

I’m a baseball collector through and through. But would like to add a Lebron Rookie. Appears Topps Chrome is the card to have but the range that it has sold for YTD is tremendous. Not sure I get what’s going on here. What is the card to have, and the recommendation for current price. What’s with the huge price range. All basketball experts rise up! Thanks.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I was just looking at Lebron rookie cards on Ebay a few minutes ago, and I barely made it out alive. The Lebron rookie section on Ebay is a madhouse right now because he won that 4th title last night.
That was my first thought as well. Now is the time to sell, not buy.

not a popular choice right now and definitely not the time to buy any lebrons, but the etopps rc only has room to go up over the years.
it's cheap, it numbered, it's chrome and 1/20th of the price of any nearest refractor rc.
I suggest go for his debut ticket stubs, they are still very gettable
High grade 2002 sport illustrated “chosen one” issue. Will only rise over the next five years.
But PSA 10s of condition sensitive 2nd year LeBrons.
