Scarce 1887 Bulgaria 10 Santim Essai - Original or Copy?

Hi all! I put up this quite scarce 1887 Bulgaria 10 Santim on my eBay store yesterday and a customer sent me a question about its authenticity. I do not think it is a copy, but I wanted to double check with the experts. Unfortunately it has seen some circulation, but is still an Essai (pattern). Any thoughts on its authenticity?

You might consider withdrawing the coin and getting it certified if it truly is that rare. I suspect the downside is the rims could prevent a straight grade and should that be the outcome would it turn out to economical? I don't know the value of this coin and if a details grade would be counterproductive.

It turns out the customer who asked the question sent me a fair offer, so I sold it. I also let him know that I would accept it back if the coin turns out to be suspicious. I think he was apprehensive since normally these coins are in uncirculated condition, considering they are patterns and not meant for circulation. Thanks for your thoughts.
