Went to a very, very small coin show today

First coin show in this area since March. It was held by the Niagara Frontier Coin Club. The show was in Lewiston, NY outside Niagara Falls. I arrived around 11:30. They only allowed 30 people in at a time which didn't seem like a problem since attendance was very sparse.

My only purchase. Nice original set.

Glad you got out. Hope all is well in your area. My daughter and other family are up near Pawling. How far away are you from that area?

I’m counting fourteen people in the picture , fifteen with you who took the picture I assume. Nice toned 1969 set, all and all, was it worth it to you? The ride, the visit to a coin show, the return, a stop with Kelly perhaps on the way back, it’s not all cost vs result in life, especially on a hobby. If it was, then great idea and thank you for the report!

A couple dealer tables aren't in the photo. It was worth it. I filled up the car at a Native gas station and paid 30c a gallon less than locally.

Our native-owned gas stations are notorious for diluted gas - hope that's not the case in NY.

Sounds like a nice little show. Congrats on your new pick-up!

How or with what do you dilute gas with that won't make a car crap a few miles down the road or quicker if it was almost empty when gassed up?

There are usually both water contamination present and violations pointing to diluting higher-grade gasoline with lower-grade.

I'm thinking of going to PCGS members show in Vegas 10/7-10/9

Anyone been that show to report if there are any foreign coin dealers at this show?

    Im thinking not .

If you plan to be in the US SouthWest at that time think about the USMex Conference held in Scottsdale AZ in October.
