That it is 'La Pieta by Michelangelo' on for what it looks like a coin souvenir, that one can buy at the Vatican.

It is not a coin. It is a medal that can be sold to tourists. I doubt it is an official Vatican City issue. Francis does not use his portrait on Vatican City coinage.
