For sale an 1866-S $2.5 PCGS AU Details. I bought this coin raw several years ago and was surprised that it didn’t straight grade. Despite being in a details holder this is an attractive, pleasing look coin with nice color. This is a rare date with fewer than 200 survivors.

Nice looking coin...based on the pics I don't really see a scratch? Maybe on the obverse rims at 3:00 and 11:00??

I'd be pulling this and submitting to NGC. If you mailed it out tomorrow, you'd have it back before mid month. Realistically, a coin like this shouldn't even need a bump.
