In this time of COVID-19 pandemic, I started looking around for pandemic coins and came across this one from the early 19th century. It was used on the island of Majorca (Mallorca) during a Yellow Fever epidemic. Allegedly the emergency issue coins were made from silver found in local churches. Most I've seen for sale are well circulated on imperfect planchets.
Anyone else have health-related coins? I have a few pieces from Leper colonies, which are pretty interesting and would make a fun collection.
