Wax or Cello Packs

I was wondering which is considered more valuable. Assuming all were graded the same (PSA 7), would a 1 or 5 cent wax pack or the PSA 7 cello pack be more valuable. Thanks.

Cellos in general, though there are a couple of exceptions like 1975 regular sized wax pack which is worth more than a cello pack.

From a pure aesthetic standpoint...wax packs hands down. The artwork on the wax wrapper is beautiful...

I have always found football cellos more aesthetically pleasing, and more valuable in similar grades.

    YMMV

I love watching the progression of the price of the packs go up as the years go by. 25¢ to 30¢ to 39¢ etc.

Love '83 Topps. Looking to put together a PSA 10 set.

generally speaking, cellos typically command more.

From what I see, the Wax pack (in the equivalent grade) almost always sells for more than the cello pack....especially in a PSA 9. The exception is when the cello pack has a star or semi-star showing.

Cellos all day and night. Wax too risky with gum eventually tearing the wrapper.

If the 1957 Cello had a logo like the 1970s Cellos I would say cello. But in this case I love the wax better for 57s.
But if you were talking baseball. Those do have a logo version and I would way rather have a baseball cello with the logo vs wax.
