MORE INFO Desert Storm Series 2 Varients

This is my first post and I am reaching out to you all. I am trying to find out all the info I can on the EXTREMELY RARE
Smiling card from Series 2. There are quite a few variants in this series. Cards that were title swapped with mismatching pictures, but this card is so RARE there is nothing anywhere.

The more common version is the more serious version of the General

There was an ebay listing and what appeared like a sale of many hundreds of dollars but it was bid on by a friend of his and he took it down, a false sale. (I appreciate his honesty, a single bid on a $899.00 sale looked a bit fishy) There is currently someone else asking $750 for his on ebay.

I guess the reason for this is
1 To find out how scarce this card is
2. to find out the actual value of this card
3. I'm trying to get Beckett to recognize the variant
4. I personally own 3 cards, and 10 unopened packs with potential cards and I don't want to slab until the variant is recognized.

I saw this community's enthusiasm on other card variant subjects and thought I might pique your curiosity.
