If you collected back in the 87/88/89 era and are drawn to what was popular at the time then it’s a very easy choice. The 86D was the hottest card in the hobby at one point. When I got back into collecting I was thrilled to find 86D boxes at $25-30 a piece.
Ripped many of those boxes over the years with friends who also collected during that era. Pulling that card still has the juice it would have had as a kid. Tho I never did see a pack as a kid.

Conundrum - Loving my unopened baseball card collection....but really like ripping too
I'll go with the 86 Topps Traded Tiffany. He's got the gloves on and the bat on his shoulder with a serious look on his face. He looks like a bash brother on that card.

in 1990-91, the donruss seemed like an unreachable goal. totally unattainable. it sold for around $125 if I remember correctly.
Then my dad gave me the greatest christmas gift I ever received... My own 86 donruss canseco. it was unreal. i still own it.
Love that story and I rememeber the time. My dad used to let me go to the card shop and let me by and '86 pack at $15/pack now and then. Never hit the Canseco. I have plenty now to make up for it.

For me, not really a contest here. Only other base from 86 is the multi player 86 Fleer with Plunk.
I take base (non-auto) over traded from the same year and this base is iconic.

I'm the only poster so far who has voted for the Fleer. I'm just going strictly on aesthetics but that's my pick.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Anyone know a good way to spot fakes/reprints for the 1986 Donruss?
Also, consider including 1986 Donruss Rookies and 1986 Sportflics in your poll.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
As legendary as the 86 Donruss is/was, I always will like the 86 Topps better. Awesome bat over the shoulder.
The 1986 is my favorite card of my favorite player. I have a PSA 10 myself.
