Which is Largest

Which is the largest (in diameter) ancient Roman coin I can buy today? I want to buy one or two for my nephew who is interested in Roman history and I don't want a small speck in a field of white (Certified).

    Some of the bronze Roman republican issues ca. 200 BC can weigh several ounces. Think along the lines of Aes Grave.
