details coins before PCGS encapsulated them

Years ago I submitted to PCGS a Morgan dollar that turned out to be cleaned. Back then they returned the coin without being encapsulated, but still gave it a cert number. Now they are encapsulating cleaned coins as a "details" coin. Is there anyway to get the coin encapsulated without submitting the coin for grading again (and paying the full price)?

I think you just have to resubmit and pay for grading.
