PCGS Coin #698503
Recently encountered PCGS coin #698503. It is a 2019-W, $100 (1.0 oz.), Platinum American Eagle - Liberty, First Day of Issue, Philadelphia, Black Shield, DCAM (Proof)

Am fairly new to coin collecting, so I do not understand all of information on the label. Specifically:
-> "Philadelphia" - I believe that this coin was minted in West Point (i.e., 2019-W). So, what does "Philadelphia" mean?
-> "Black Shield" - I have noticed the "black shield" image on other FDOI labels. What does it mean?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Welcome to the forum!
There is a good chance they were made available in Philadelphia on the release date.
The coin was struck at the West Point Mint.Looks like there are about 24 label varieties for a 2019 W $100....this is just one of them.

@ifthevamzarockin,
Thanks for the warm welcome, and your response. I appreciate both.
I never realized that the U.S. Mint sold new releases from 'brick-and-mortar' locations (e.g., Philadelphia Mint). This would certainly explain the "Philadelphia" call-out.
You are absolutely correct - there are a large number of available labels for this coin.
Again, you have my thanks for the reply.
@ifthevamzarockin,
Just following-up ...
PCGS customer service just definitively answered the "Philadelphia" question.
You were correct; "Philadelphia" means that the coin was purchased from the Philadelphia Mint.
Thanks again for the response.
