Automated Returns mandatory under Managed Payments?

Saw this on ecommercebytes. I wonder how the scammers will take advantage?

my bigger concern is what about somebody that files a return or "not authorized" payment thru their bank or credit card vs. ebay. eagle-eyeing my statement daily because at least w/ paypal, you could see a return status under your notifications when you logged in.

My concern is that any option the seller has to mitigate the cost is gone. I think one of the members on ecommercebytes suggested that this is just a way for ebay to sell more USPS labels at a mark-up.

oh 100%. i guess what i was trying to say was that there's a TON of new things to be on the look out w/ the new managed payments monopoly. and it sucks.

Managed payments gets more depressing the more I read threads about it. So far I haven't been forced over to accept it yet. I am not looking forward to when I have to.

I have yet to be forced over to managed payments, but I sure am not looking forward to it.
