Need to know the Good Card shops for my Weekend in Atlanta!!

If you know the name (and info - website, street address, etc) for any Good card shops in the greater Atlanta Area, I would appreciate your giving me the info. I am going there for the 4th of July weekend.

Thanks,

  • The card shop I use is in alpharetta at the intersection of abbotts bridge and jones bridge roads. It has your typical selection but not really any graded stuff. It is called Collector's Dream. Inside NorthPoint mall there is a store called Field of Dreams which has mostly high priced memorabilia and such; it has a few cards. There is also Atlanta Sports cards in duluth located at the intersection of buford highway and howell st. It has a large selection of cards and autos. Buckhead sports cards off of roswell road has a large selection of rare memorabilia, but not a great selction of cards. Btw, there is also a Field of Dreams off of peachtree st in buckhead.

    Acorn,

I saw your note and nearly fell out of my chair... I used to live within walking distance of that shop (Timberlane subdivision). I go in there from time to time...but they really don't have any vintage cards to speak of.

    Do you live near "Alfaf"?

Are you talking about Collector's Dream?

I call it Collector's Scream...because whenever I walk in there...there's tables of kids playing some "pack Wars" game.

  • Haha, they do that friday nights I think. I have never been. Its a good way to sell packs though. I wish they would sell PSA cards though. I usually only go in there when I get a bad craving for opening packs and cant wait for ebay. (and consequently pay 200% of what I should)

    Acorn,

Next time you go: Check out the vintage cards and the prices. They are particularly funny...especially given that they only sell raw cards.
