Marshall Faulk Auto being used as bookmark

was at value village today and picked up about 6 sports mags and inside one of the mags this was being used as a book mark.. does anyone know how you got the photo ? did you have to send in to the sports game company and buy it or was it sent out with a game ?

These cards came with the Madden 2012 video game. There were three versions that came with the game and they also inserted a redemption card that you could send in and receive a special 18kt gold card. That card you found is one of the regular versions. This is the 18kt gold version.

i payed .99 cents for the mag i found it in .. whoever donated the mag was using it as a bookmark

I'd say that was a pretty nice score. For whatever reason, I took a liking to Faulk when his cards first came out. I collected him for a bit and I recall buying a very large lot after his stuff had cooled down. It included the signed redemption football that one manufacturer was giving out, I think it was Classic and it was a ROY game card redemption. Lots of tough inserts. Was happy at the time, as a player collector of him, but very happy now that I bought it. He had a great career. I stopped buying football for the most part, but still have all the Faulks tucked away.

i also remember he had a card with classic 4 sports .. i have that somewhere in my collection
