Was it worth it?

I sold my 2016 Breanna Stewart rookie.
I bought a 1968 Topps Johnny Bench rookie.
I just bought that on eBay. So I don't have it in my possession yet.

Depends on what you are looking for. I had to look up Breanna Stewart to see who that was and I live in the Seattle area, if that tells you anything. i also really don't collect basketball much anymore and definitely not current players.
If you enjoy the Bench more than the Stewart, then yes it is worth it.
This question could go many different ways, but with what info you provided, the first sentence I typed is all I can say for now.

1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
The Bench is a PSA 5 grade.
It is one of the most iconic cards in the hobby.

You did good picking up the Bench. His rookie card is a great pickup and will only increase in price over time as his rookie will certainly have a major run up in the future. Having said that I have no idea who Breanna Stewart is but no doubt a great WNBA player.
Thanks yes the Bench is a great cards to have.

Never heard of Breanna Stewart like many here. Doubt there is anyone here that doesn’t know who Johnny Bench is so I think you did well.
Most people have never heard of any WNBA player outside of Lisa Leslie Or Cheryl Miller. The league is not self sustaining as it has to be subsidized by the NBA to even exist. Now when they make the Professional Basketball HOF which many do the cards get a nice pop since they are not highly collected and are not subbed much, but that is it.
