    Very beautiful medal

    It seams to be from the Hippodrome of Chateauebriant and there is a misspelling or perhaps the internet has the spelling wrong. Not sure if the Senators of the Lower Loire won the medal or gave the medal.

    I do not know the answer to that. My suspicion is that it was a souvenir, given to the French senators that attended the race.
