Communicating via the PCGS Registry

The answer to this question is likely known to many, but I’m not too up to speed on the mechanics of the Registry. Is there a method for sending a DM to the owner of a particular set, e.g. “great coin, any chance you might be interested in selling?” The only means of communicating that I’m seeing is the option of leaving a public comment, which I don’t consider appropriate for such communications. Thanks.

The person has to have ENABLED people to contact them. If they have done this then there is a CONTACT tab you can click on, fill out a web contact form and it sends them an email. Otherwise, you are correct, the only way is to comment on their set. They do not get emails about comments left and likely only notice the comment months or years later, if ever.

Thanks for the response. This is helpful info.

I have seen people leave a 'comment' about the registry set asking the owner to contact them with their contact info.

Sometimes you can determine set owner by threads and comments about that series and message them here.
