How to find a coin I sold??

I photograph every coin that goes into my collection. As a set get's upgraded I typically sell the extra coin on eBay and keep the photos of the sold coin.
I was looking through some Barber Quarter photos and saw a 1900 S Quarter I sold a few years back (likely on eBay) that I wish I had back:
I have no record of whom I sold it to. Is there a way on eBay to trace sales older than 90 days? I would like to try and get the coin back.
I love them Barber Halves.....

If you look up the certificate you can see it is in a Private Registry set so at least it might be a member online. Put up a notice in the set registry page and the bst and you might get lucky....
Current PCGS Registry Sets:
This cert is currently in user's private Set Registry inventory.
I used to be famous now I just collect coins.

Do you delete your sold emails sent from ebay? They are a Godsend to me sometimes. I have sales records going way back! Easily searchable also.
I tried that already. I thought I found the sale, but it turned out that I sold another 1900 S PC AU53 the same year....

This is what I was going to suggest. I don't delete any emails related to eBay sales/questions, so I can always search them. It's also helpful if you need to check on whether a buyer may be problematic, as you can check past dealings quickly.
Good luck!
Anyone know though whether EBay archives sales from years ago? Some of my past purchases were with an email address that I no longer have. It would be great if somehow EBay could source past sales from their end using the old email address as I doubt they would have deleted their own past emails.
eBay may have such an archive internally, but it's not public-facing. I strongly doubt they'd be willing to look something up for you, either. It would cost them way too much to provide such a service. It's on the user to archive their own eBay transactions, unfortunately.
How do you typically receive payment? For example, you may be able to see more transactions within PayPal or in emails from PayPal.
Could try Paypal history and maybe find it. You can create reports to go back as far as you want I believe.
Unfortunately eBay doesn't have a way to go back that far at least that I'm aware of.
Best of luck!
I tried Papal transactions as well. I could only get access to 2019-2020.
I did go back to my email again and used several different search terms- Bingo! I found an email with the transaction details from PayPal (including an email address). I reached out to the purchaser and got a response!
He's not interested in selling. Oh well.....
I guess the Pope was too busy to help you.

Perhaps it’s in some sellers online store at his retail price.
At least you tried and now he knows you're interested so he might contact you when he is ready to sell. Sometimes these things don't work out until 6 months to a year or two later.
Looks like some missed this happy ending.
Good for you!
no. put up some wanted posters.
