1934 plain 204 is a toughie for sure!
...I still need one 😃
I was told that there are 3 known. Mine being 1 of them.
Maybe three graded by PMG... but there are more than three known. Small size varieties are often found in circulated condition with many examples in collections that have yet to be sent in for grading.
Are there any in the PCGS registry?
Do you mean population report? I don’t think that’s live/exists yet for PCGS-Banknote.
PCGS-Currency/Legacy has one example certified.
Yes that is what I meant. Do you know what the grade is on that note?
That tiny little 204 on the reverse matters? Does that number affect the value?
I'm a newbie to Hawaii notes so I don't have any info on this one but I will be adding it to my list of must haves and I look forward to researching the series! Thanks for posting

Lfb or Lfp - never heard the b before - back?
Yes the b is for back plate. There is a 1934 and a 1934a $20 Hawaii note with these back plate numbers. They do carry a small premium to some collectors. There are also mule and non-mule notes for each series. 1934 non-mules are scarcer than the mules and the 1934a mules are scarcer than the non-mules.
_Nice note _ that is a tough find for sure 👍
