How do you “weigh out” exactly 1000 cents ?

Well its easy to calculate. Each penny weighs 3.11 grams. So you know 1,000 pennies will weigh 3100 grams. And i always add extras just to be sure

I know from customers that count them that this is actually a very easy & accurate method for counting pennies. Some pennies may weigh slightly less than 3.11G due to wear, so its always a good idea to add some extras to male up for the variation.
