hopefully someone can help with this medal Birmingham Town Hall 1834- silver

this and a few other medals were part of a small coin collection I recently purchased.
I have no idea about medals and Google has nearly nothing about this one.
Hopefully someone here can help.... Please...
any Idea what it is worth and how best to sell it?
weight is 44.12 grams
diameter is 48 mm
metal is Silver perhaps only White metal

I found some auctions of this medal as a white metal composition. White metal can be non-magnetic so you need to check further. Use the Google with keywords to find results. Very nice item. Peace Roy

Yes, this looks like white metal from the photo. Silver does not tone like that.
Its value would probably be greatest to collectors in Birmingham, England. It does appear to be white metal.
I think it would be of interest to collectors outside of Birmingham as well. For example, I believe @harasha has an interest in this type of medal.
Britain did a lot of these kind of medals during this time. New buildings, tunnels, bridges, ships, and other public works as well as fairs and expositions. The often give specifications of the work involved. I'm sure they were done in white metal as a cost issue. Who among the common man could afford to keep a few of these if they were in silver?
These seem to trade between $50-$150, depending on many factors. A few (like the big one with world hemispheres on each side) trade much higher.
