Oh mama! This should be fun!
I'll start with one of my favorites. "The refrigerator"
Speaking of Da Bears. How about Gary “Hitman” Fencik
Deion Sanders. "Primetime"
"Broadway" Any guy who can get away with wearing a fur coat on the sideline has to get a mention.
Sweetness
Well, they call me Sweetness,
And I like to dance.
Runnin' the ball is like makin' romance.
We've had the goal since training camp
To give Chicago a Super Bowl Champ.
And we're not doin' this
Because we're greedy.
The Bears are doin' it to feed the needy.
You're lookin' at the Fridge,
I'm the rookie.
I may be large, but I'm no dumb cookie.
You've seen me hit, you've seen me run,
When I kick and pass, we'll have more fun.
I can dance, you will see
The others, they all learn from me.
Tons of great nicknames from the 85 Bears
It's Gary here, and I'm Mr.Clean.
They call me "hit man,"
Don't know what they mean.
They throw it long and watch me run,
I'm on my man, one-on-one.
Buddy's guys cover it down to the bone,
That's why they call us the 46 zone.
😂
Love the Super Bowl Shuffle!!!
“Slingin’ “ Sammy Baugh
"The Bus" This name fit Jerome Bettis well because he was so big, and his steelers black and gold had the same resemblance of the colors of a school bus.
Some of the better golfer nicknames ...
Tiger, Lefty, Golden Bear, Rahmbo, Tommy Two Gloves, Boom Boom, The Shark, Pink Panther, Ms/Mr 59, Clown Prince, The Mechanic, The Emperor, The Walrus
Ed "Too Tall" Jones. The nickname says it all. It had to be a nightmare for the offense having this guy in your way.
Willie Edward Jones (August 16, 1925 – October 18, 1983), nicknamed "Puddin' Head"
His six career grand slams as a Phillie ties him for third place behind Mike Schmidt and Ryan Howard
"Moose" Johnston. This name fit him well because of his size, and he was a hard hitter who opened up holes for Emmitt Smith.
Aaron Pryor was an intimidating boxer nicknamed "The Hawk" and befire evety fight he would point to hus opponent and glare at them.
"Hands of stone" was Roberto Duran's nickname. I love that nickname.
I can go all day on this thread!
And yes, I have ridden in a Cadillac before!!
Tyler Hansbrough was nicknamed "Psycho T" because of his intense playing style and it helped him lead my Tar Heels to a national championship.
I’m glad it’s getting some traffic!! 👍👍
Dr J Julius Erving, Earvin Magic Johnson
Greg the Bull Luzinski, the Ryan express
😂😂😂😂 I'm having a blast!
"The Snake is just a ridiculously cool nickname.
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, Earl "The Pearl" Washington, "Downtown" Freddie Brown.
"Night Train" is also a ridiculously cool nickname. Richard Lane was of the most vicious defensive hitters ever and was once quoted as saying "There's nothing I hate more than a first down".
"The raging bull" is another favorite nickname because it fit Jake LaMotta so well. He would come at you relentlessly like a raging bull and he wasn't afraid to get bloody. He was intense in the ring. They'll never be another Jake LaMotta.
"Charlie Hustle" Controversial, but he has a cool nickname that fit his playing style really well.
The Nigerian Nightmare
