The first part of the equation is the starting.
The second part is would you go, this year?

Not any area. Until there is a vaccine, my guess. My fingers are crossed for the winter FUN show.

Even with a vaccine I will not be in a rush to attend shows. Will wait to see it's effectiveness rate first. That in itself could be weeks/months until it shakes out.

We had one in Salt Lake the last weekend in June. Went off without a hitch. Steve Ellsworth (ANA Pres.) even set up at it. Next shows are Sept 25-26 and Oct 10-11, 2020 - 35 miles north.

Makes no difference to me anyway cause I'm not going.

Eventually, yes. Soon, possibly. Wise and soon, No.

I will not be going to shows before there is wide spread vaccine availability/use, or some other way to curb the pandemic.

Hmmm? Funny, I went to two shows in the past 6 weeks? Social distance, masks and crowds were thinner than in the past. Had a great time attending both without any complications. I'm ready for the next one! ;)

If I was going to go to a show it would be a PCGS type of smaller event. It would have to be mask mandatory, social distancing etc. Zero chance of me going to a mid to large show. That would flat out be irresponsible to my family IMHO. It’s just not that important to me. I can do coin business as I always have with an on line bid, a phone call , text or email. I’m fortunate that I live in California and can drive to Heritage, Stacks or GC to view coins safely. Heck they can even ship them directly to me pre auction. Zero need to fly to a show to buy a coin

I have no desire to go to any large gathering of people right now. It's just not worth it.

I recently picked up some take out at a restaurant and, for me, there were even too many people crowded at the door waiting for their food because you had to get 2 doors to pick up your food.

I'm buying online and am perfectly happy with that. When I receive mail, I leave it in the garage for a couple days before opening the package. I'm glad to report I thought I lost a package and found it 2 months later in my garage. It was a less expensive top pop US Mint medal. I'm glad I didn't report it as missing :)
