Is there a premium for rolls of UNC 64 Kennedy Halves?

wrightywrighty Posts: 840 ✭✭✭✭

Sold some 90% last week and came across a couple of rolls of uncirculated 64 halves in a box. Can anyone give me an idea on how much of a premium over melt these might be at? Thank you

Because of the rise in the silver price you would have to try to find the right buyer, probably on ebay and wait. I got a big premium on proof Franklins and BU Kennedys a while back. Then the premium dropped due to supply.

They are rarer if they are circulated.

This is probably an actual factual. Silver started it's slow pull from circulation with 90% coinage, so there was not much time to circulate, especially when lots of the people wanted to keep a commemorative of JFK.

On 07/21/2020, I bought an uncirculated roll of 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars for $155.00.
