I usually collect higher end coins, but this coin I got along with a 1944 halfpenny for a grand total of $3.25....The 1942 can sometimes be hard to locate nice....Sorry about the blurring of the obverse.

Is it really a gem ?

I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

Yes, very nice indeed in hand and I will try to get a better obverse picture tomorrow. I was really getting at how nice a coin can still be had for very little.

Maybe a bit better - glad my camera doesn't work for the grading service! LOL
George most assuredly does not have so many grazes on bust in hand....
