eBay message, seller doesn't ship to my state

Tried to pay for some auctions this morning, I keep getting a error message that the seller does not ship to my state. I buy from him a few times a week so I know that isn't the case, anyone else having these issues? And eBay is so user friendly when you have a problem, I can't figure out how to contact them.

I use the eBay Help & Contact button. Go through a couple of screens and then have them call me back. It's always worked for me... (knock on wood)

agree, they always call back within 20 minutes, only problem is they are going to need a System Technician to fix that and they are slow

Thanks for the help. I had them contact me, it took only 2 minutes for a call back. The issue has not been fixed yet however.

Yes, I had that issue as a seller 3-4 weeks ago. I've been selling about 60 items a month, and all of a sudden I get a message from a buyer because he is trying to pay for an auction but the auction says I don't deliver to his state. I had to cancel the auction, relist it and make sure I was careful with my delivery options. I have no idea how this happened. I typically use the same template multiple times when setting up auctions, so I have no idea how it happened this one time.

I just saw a listing today that had a "No longer ships to MN" in the Item Specifics. Odd that single states would be singled out.

Not really. Apparently Minnesota has onerous requirements for "coin dealers".

Some states require licensing for selling certain segments of gold and silver into their states. Watches and jewelry would be exempt but items such as scrap and coinage may not be.
