List/index of old Beckett price guide stories and features?

Is there any way to find out which Beckett magazines had certain features or stories in them?

I suppose the same could go for Sports Collectors Digest and Tough Stuff. Has any kind of a link of the stories or features in those magazines ever been compiled somewhere?

Like issue....say #24 from September 1991 had the following articles. That type of thing.

Very interesting idea. I have a ton of old mags from the 90's, but definitely not the time to develop a database

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

That could be added to one of the current group edit sites. Baseballcardpedia for example, might be a prime platform to consider. That way it was not just one person doing the hard work for all to enjoy. Think of how fast a data base could be built if the platform existed where anyone could add content (like wikipedia) and people could just read through and document even 1 magazine each! Also, if people only needed to do 1 magazine, think of how detailed you could get with very little individual effort. I'm guessing the toughest part would be hosting the information on a site for all to use. I don't know how that all works, so just a guess.

I have thought about doing it, but I would have to be retired and through with the other projects I have always talked about doing first. I have most of the first 200-300 Becketts BB and many of the first 50+ for the other sports too, the first 100+ Baseball Card Magazines, etc. SIs, Hobby periodicals, etc. It could be a gigantic idea (and database).

I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.

That is pretty cool on the starting lineup articles.

I just think about all the different features that was found in those old publications...sure the internet has a ton of information, but not always exactly what you are looking for.

Would be great if people could create/upload/update some kind of a list somewhere. I don't know anything about how to go about that, but if something was available I certainly could try and contribute to it.
