that one, Manny Ramirez, still hasn't quite reached his peak. Certainly his play helped the Sox win a couple of WS. Only 5 Pinnacle PSA 10's have sold in the last 3 months, only 2 OPC, and very few Topps and upper deck Gold. All are in the $150 range which is an uptick, but not as strong as some others. His 1993 SP is going up a little faster.

Interesting, I honestly have not followed Manny very closely. What is considered his best rookie?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
The 1993 SP, sales for the most. There are a few 1991 minor league cards. The Front Row Gold version (#2500) I would assume would be the best 1991 card. For the regular issue 1992 cards - These are massed produced, but based on the pop report OPC and Upper Deck Gold look to be the best. Then the Topps Gold, Gold Winner and Pinnacle seem close by. 1992 Bowman Gold sales for around $100 - $125. None has broke out as the "one to have" at the moment. If I had to guess, the OPC would seem to have the best chance to break out at some point. I almost forgot I about the Topps Micro, it could be decent too.
A few years ago I bought a pack of 1993 SP (looking for the Jeter). Paid $65 for the pack but no luck on the Jeter -- however I did get the Manny rookie. So it wasn't a complete loss... He has HOF numbers. Just the PED suspensions holding him back... but he did serve his first suspension (I think it was 50 games). Retired before the 2nd suspension of 100 games -- or something like that, I can't remember...
1992 OPC sold for $900.00. 1993 SP went for $870.00
The 1992 Bowman is the one listed on the PSA Regisry for "Future" HOFers. So that would be the one that gets used in a HOF registry if he got inducted. I like the Topps Gold Winner, Pinnacle, and Bowman Gold all much better though. And I agree, for as great of a player that he was, minus the steroid suspensions, his cards are still fairly affordable.
PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.51% Complete)
PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)
PSA Basketball HOF Players Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 6.02% Complete)
The green/white stripped shirt on the 92 Bowman is so 90’s..
I like the 92 Pinnacle or UD better than the Bowman.
