Check out this cool item in the latest Heritage Auction. I have never seen the album before:

That is cool had no idea that books like this existed. Was it printed by Bowman or created by somebody else to house their collection?
I looks like it was created by another company for football cards. It's still pretty cool.
From the item description:
This rarely encountered (olive-colored) 1948 Bowman Football album contains all of the issued cards. The album which measures 10 by 13 inches, was designed to hold all of the 108 cards, and has the players name, position, and team appear underneath each opening.
I read that as meaning it was a Bowman issued item. Maybe it was a mail in premium?
Seems like someone on the boards would know for certain.
Hopefully someone who knows chimes in.
