Just got an email from Angel Dee's that the show has now gone from postponed to cancelled. No surprise.

Very ,very sad news! I have been to every ANA summer show ( 50 ) since 1970. I was hoping that they could get something worked out. :'(

That particular announcement, referencing cancellation, as opposed to postponement, was made today. While widely expected, it hardly qualifies as “old news”.

They were holding our for an alternate site but now it's eyes on Phoenix in March.
I am going to keep my hopes alive for that one.

When the date and location were being changed and moved......That meant cancelled to me, anyway!

It's not a big surprise. There are only a small # of potential sites that meet the basic criteria and want to have the WFoM. With all the cancellations there might have been a few more than usual. But it's a huge task to schedule a show, even with a year to plan it.

Coinworld announced ngc was doing a 20% discount on all tiers as I remember to make up for the cancelled coin show. Don’t quote me but I believe the coins have to be recieved between 27 July and 7 August. Just fysa. I could not find the announcement on Their site so who knows. Would be awesome if our host matched it

You are. And your penalty is no Barber coins until the next W.F.O.M. show is held.😉

Col. Ellsworth said his "little side job" had turned into a 40-50 hr/week headache when he was at the SLC show. Wake me up when all this is over.

I believe its all tiers except modern, PCGS has been having the extra member only shows as their way of a make up. I have a few Morgans that aren't really worth the full fare to grade but have been considering sending them in for this NGC special.
