Any good PSA collecting podcasts out there? Should I start one?
Driving in to work this morning and I was thinking about looking for a new podcast to mix my listening up and was wondering if there are any podcasts dedicated to PSA collecting. After a quick search when I got to the office I couldn't find anything specific, but I didn't quite do a deep dive.
Then I thought about maybe starting one myself. I work in college athletics and could be looking at the real possibility of going a few more months of not having any games to cover and if we have to go back to working from home, I'm going to need something else to keep me occupied. I've been doing a podcast for work, but would like to start something personal as well.
I guess the question is, if I did this, would anyone listen? Also, if I did this, would you guys be interested in appearing as guests?
Would love for each show to focus on a particular set or personal collection. Discuss the different approaches to collecting and set building and allow collectors to share fun stories, hits, misses, mistakes made and good fortune that has come your way.
I'm in the early brainstorming stage, but probably wouldn't consider doing this unless there was interest in both listening and participating.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Jason

There's PSA Radio that comes out every Wednesday: https://www.psacard.com/radio
I'm not a podcast guy, so can't comment on the rest.
I'd certainly give it a listen if you started one.
👍 so I know I’ve got one listener

I've tried really hard to find good card collector podcasts and YouTube channels, but the content is skewed way towards ultra modern so it's mostly not for me. Even the podcasts involving older gentlemen who collect vintage themselves seem to only discuss modern. If that's your thing, plenty out there to choose from.
There is one YouTube channel I should give a shout to - EliteCo3. The guys is very likeable to begin with, and he seems to have a bottomless bankroll for buying and subbing. He never seems to get upset over delays or bad grades. He goes through his wins, losses, maildays, occasional box breaks, store cards vs. personal collection items, and bulk submissions in pretty good detail. Nice mix of vintage stars to junk era to modern. Check it out - big library of videos. Worst case scenario pop on a bulk submission return video to fall asleep to and dream of PSA 10s.
