A very special 1980 Topps Rickey Henderson rookie

Hello Collectors Universe,

I wanted to share this art piece that I recently finished. 20" x 28", made from cut up baseball cards. The Rickey rookie is one of my favorite cards, and I was thrilled to land the opportunity to build my own version of it.

    The sense of dimension and depth brings a certain stereo effect that really doesn't even exist on the actual card.

    Simply incredible, I have zoomed in and out on that picture a half dozen times. You have some serious talent.

    Haha, this was a commission so it is not for sale. And $5k is too much!! At least for a relatively obscure artist like me :)

    I tried to stay as true to the card as possible, but you have to draw the line somewhere! haha

    Perhaps, or maybe it was a scam using your image? When I clicked on this post I had an "A-HA" moment upon seeing the Rickey. I thought immediately you were trying to sell it in here as I had just seen it a few days prior.
