1469-1504 4 reales. Is this real or fake?

This coin is Outside of my area of expertise.

I was on a fishing trip last week with a guy who is a bookseller. He found this in a box of books with a few other random coins. These are quick cell phone shots from him so not the greatest.
My first concern was perhaps too round,not as crude as some I have seen. Other than that some parts of the coin make me think it's real.
What do you guys think? Also any idea of value looks like maybe a few hundred dollars if real?

Be very careful. Color looks kinda good, but it looks off at the same time...
