PSA Hong Kong now has a zip code.

I don't know if any here ship to Hong Kong. I sold something to a buyer in Hong Kong and could not print a shipping label so I called ebay. The ebay rep came back and said that China Post had recently created a zip code for Hong Kong. The buyer even messaged me Hong Kong does not have a zip code. I entered the zip code ebay supplied and I was able to print the label. For those who may need it, it is 999077.
Still hoping the buyer will respond to a message I sent him informing him he now has a zip code. I'm very curious as to his thoughts although I doubt he can or will be candid with all that is happening there.

I'd bet all email is being scrubbed by the powers that be. Peace Roy

You're probably right, but not sure how a postal code will help. I initially assumed they were implementing it to automate the sort, but who knows. Just checked with a buddy from HK. He didn't know about this.
Thanks for your post. I mailed a coin to HK today, at first I can't print the label on ebay. It kept say the address is not correct then I remember your post. Once I put the postal code in everything is fine.
Could be useful someday. Thanks for the info.
