He is a legend, he has made many appearances in the trading card section, and now he just wants to say hello to everyone in the sports talk forum. Yes, I'm talking about the legendary 1952 Topps bearded Mantle. He has been on Ebay it seems like forever, and no one will buy him.

I like to call it the 1952 Topps Kris Kringle.
Freakin legend.
😂😂😂 what a find! Little did the youngster know back in the 50’s how much money he was erasing with that alteration
Condition: Acceptable
Price: US $18,000.00
For 18k it had better be acceptable. LOL
I have a habit of checking the 52' Topps Mantle section on Ebay every now and then just to see what's for sale, and I always see the bearded Mantle. It breaks my heart that nobody will give him a home. The poor bearded Mantle. Nobody loves him, he just sits on Ebay all alone.
And the slab says altered. Yeah, no kidding, the dang card has a beard!
Instead of "altered" maybe the flip should have said "shaved" as it looks like someone tried to remove the beard. LOL
😂😂
Well 18k is a decent amount to shell out for a room for him 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂 The way it looks, the only suitable home would be...
Hey, a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle is a 1952 Mickey Mantle.
I'd have to sell it if I had it. The beard is just too much. Now if it had only sideburns, I could live with that.
Sideburns the style of the hairy 70’s lol
