A Coin Only A Collector Could Love

Many Chinese cash coins are sea salvage or have been otherwise impacted by the elements. This is such a one. However, it is a rarer type, showing a "denomination" on the reverse. In this case "san qian" which could be translated as 3 cash. You cam make out, somewhat, the Chinese character for 3, three horizontal lines of increasing length.
The coin was cast during the reign of the Hong Wu emperor, one of the Ming dynasty. 1368 - 1398.
