I'm trying to determine if this is an actual coin from China or a souvenir token. Only one side is available for attribution and Mr. Krause has not helped me. I'm hoping someone on here can help me determine. I know either way it's likely a cheap trinket, but there is a twist that made it a fun find if I can date it. Or a waste of money. Haha. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks to forum member @harasha I feel a bit better about this purchase. I have seen love tokens on world coins before, but not on a Chinese coin. I was unsure of the date so could not determine if this is contemporary or modern.

This would be a coin of the Qian Long emperor, reigned officially from 11 October 1735 to 8 February 1796.
However, I am puzzled by your comment that the reverse is blank, unless I am misreading you. Anyway, it appears genuine.

Thank you. The reverse is not blank. But it has been altered. I will post picture of other side tomorrow.
