Vladimir A Red Sox

Vladimir Guerrero sure would look nice hitting in the lineup with Johnny Damon, Nomar Garciaparra,
Manny Ramirez and Shea Hillenbrand.

I think Boston should trade ALL Star Tony Clark and his .211 average, plus Darren Oliver and his 5+ ERA
to Montreal for Vladimir image

I am putting together a Vladimir Guerrero package that I will sell image

  • You scared the SH!T outta me!
  • lol
  • That trade would never happen though, not even a package with Fossum and Pedro would get that deal done.
  • Red Sox sent Casey Fossum back to the minors. They say it's to work on becoming a starting pitcher- I don't buy it. He was a starting pitcher before in minors and a very good one at that. He was
one of Boston's best relievers this year. The kid is only 24 years old with an outstanding fastball and changeup. My feeling is Sox are going to trade him for some player over 30 years of age, so us Sox
fans can use the famous words of, "Why can't we get players like that(Like Fossum)"?

  • LOL, you're probably right, they seem to think they can afford giving up prospects for older players like the Yankees, only problem is, the Yankees continue to develop top notch propects to make the moves that they do.

and the yankees are b@stards image
  • Well, Yankees also have Major League players on their team that came from their own farm system such
as Pettitte, Rivera, Jeter, Bernie, Soriano, Johnson, Posada, to name some.

BTW, Expos have put together maybe the NL's strongest rotation:

Vazquez, Colon, Armas jr and Ohka. Then you throw in Stewart who I am very high on as their closer.
Now if Expos can add another big bat, (Daubach for a prospect, LOL) I say they win the NL East division title.

  • Yeah, I'd say the rotation is up there in the top 5 at least, D-Backs are still better even with just Schilling and Johnson, Braves are tough too, it'll be great to see how Colon does, and if Armas could stay constistent. We don't want Daubach by the way, lol, does anybody??
  • There is talk around here that Sox maybe shipping Brian Daubach to Braves for Jason Marquis.
I'd take Marquis in a second- he's got a good arm and is young.

Looking to add a baseball game to web site. Any suggestions?

  • Really? The Braves would be stupid to make that deal.
  • Yes, Braves have shown interst in Daubach.

All I want for my birthday(which is today) is Barry Zito in a Red Sox uniform. Just give me Zito pitching with Pedro and Lowe- and it's 1-2-3 I'll be a happy Sox fan image

  • Heh, fat chance Zito is leaving Oakland image.
  • "fat chance Zito is leaving Oakland." Okay, I'll settle for Tim Hudson in Boston image

  • LOL, maybe, well I was gonna say someone else, but who else is in their rotation besides Zito, Hudson and Mulder???
  • Hiljus and Lidle, I don't know if they're even still in the rotation, but they were at one point image.
  • Oakland has that kid Aaron Harang. He's got good stuff, too. They received him from the Texas Rangers
along with Carlos Pena. He's got a good fastball that really moves. He seems to hide the ball well
when on rubber. Oakland is strong.

  • The Rangers got screwed in that deal! I'm goin to bed imageimage night.
