Finest/Chrome "Blobs" Grade Deductions?

Does anyone know what kind of grade deduction the "Blob" causes on a Finest/Chrome card?

I appreciate your time!

Thanks
Craig

I’m not sure they will knock it for that. Check some eBay listings. Looks like that area is a different color on numerous PSA 10s.

soxaddict has a point. I've seen chromes and finest cards sitting in PSA 10 holders with that type of fading. The rumor I heard is that those cards are sensitive to humidity. I think they fixed issue in 1998?

    They don't drop the grade.

Its a result of the production process and not they way the cards were later stored or handled.

Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

I have seen many in 10 holders. I don't believe that they deduct from it. From what I understand, it is not a result of storage or humidity/conditions. It was a problem with the coating/gloss tools used. It was corrected by 1999.
