My wife and I have a chess set that has been in her family for the past 25 years. So far we have been unable to find out much information on it other than it is more than likely victorian Cantonese. They are ivory and the pieces range from 4 to 10 inch. Pictured are the White King and Queen and the markings on the bottom. Any info would be much appriciated.

    Very cool!
    Chess figures caught my eye.
    The game of everything.
Sorry not a clue on the designer or the date.
    Thanks for the look.

  • Thanks guys, I will try world of coins...

  • I suggest trying an eBay search using something like Old Chinese Chess or Old Chinese Chess Piece. There are currently 200 results for the first search and about eleven using the second one. Once you scan thru the results and have seen them all you can sort and just see Newly Listed so you can keep current on what's out there. Sooner or later your set or pieces will show up.
