Need info on gold coin

Customer brought this in the shop, well actually a picture of a coin his brother found in the middle east. Gold, can
anybody identify it, and approx value, thanks

    Not sure but I like them. I collect gold coins but don't any dinars. Do you sell other world gold coins as well and do you have a website?

    I believe the date is "Year 148", which would convert to AD 765. A rather early Abbasid coin, from the reign of Caliph al-Mansur. No named mint, so struck in Baghdad. My Stephen Album checklist rates dinars from this reign as "common", so it would have minimal premium (maybe 10%?) above the gold value.
