    1989 Upper Deck PSA 10

Thank you for sharing this, I did not realize he had two Topps cards in 1989. Regular and update set, with tiffany and non-tiffany variations for each.

I always thought that the 1989 UD was his best card, but it may be the 1989 TTT. Is that correct? I use to think that only the best rookie card (highest value) is the one to get, but it seems down to preferences. I mean, as the UD goes up so will both Topps Tiffany as well. Maybe the non-Tiffany versions would appreciate at a slower pace? Not sure on that one.

Well, at the prices these are going, it is a little late to purchase these. I should have gotten them a few years ago when they were cheap.

Fleer Marlboro variations. This one is labeled partially obscured, however I have been told it is green tint.

Upper deck and Fleer are higher on my list. Traded is dead last.

1989 Fleer Marlboro error and 1989 Fleer Glossy would be my top two choices. Much harder to track down in PSA 10.

I recently decided to plunge face-first into the 1989 Fleer Marlboro buffet. The amount of variations is astonishing.

I would say for long-term appreciation, the '89 Tiffany is where it's at (the Traded is no where near being on my list). But for fun and true rarity, smoke 'em if you got 'em.

    '89 Topps Tiffany

I like the clean look of the Topps Tiffany card over the U.D.

Imagine if the Expos had Johnson and Pedro as their top two pitchers for the bulk of the 90s? I like the UD card better but the Tiffany will no doubt take off.
