Seller cancellation on Ebay

I’m guessing an auction won and paid for and a subsequent cancellation, by the seller is not a first. Any thoughts? I contacted Ebay and don’t expect much in response. If an item goes for less than one anticipated, the seller’s roll of the dice is the chance he takes. IMO

I had an Ebay seller pull that stunt on me one time, and I didn't hesitate to pop him with a negative feedback.
Thanks DD....I did the same....his rating is 97, so he had issues prior to my experience.
Right on brother.
Sometimes karma is a beautiful thing:

Very interesting Erik!
Did you get any lame excuses with the cancellation? I did. The first time this happened to me I won a nice 71 Reggie Jackson for cheap. Seller cancelled the transaction and gave me the lame excuse of how the card was stepped on by his dog and therefore could not mail it to me. Who leaves a card for auction, unprotected, on the floor with a pet running around? He refunded me but I will never buy from him again.
He said it was out of stock. Don’t we all list auction items, that are out of stock? Too funny!
I have auctioned cards and went I went to pack them up not been able to find them. One card I found 6 months later. The other time I still haven't been able to find it.
Hard for me to get too mad at sellers. Ebay has gone to a totally buyer biased system.
