A 2019 National Treasures Zion Williamson rookie card sold for $99,800 on Ebay yesterday. The card is numbered 29/99 and it had an astounding 4,271 watchers and finished with 182 bids. This was the kind of auction you eat popcorn while watching!

It didn't actually sell. The top bidder stated that he accidentally hit the bid button and then accidentally hit the confirm button too.
More than likely the entire bidding process was a sham with a few people running it up to manipulate sales of their own Zion cards.
I was checking out some of Zion's other rookies, and his stuff is on fire. Check out some of his other rookies and the asking prices.

There is a confirmed sale at around 70k.
This 100k auction is another instance of price manipulation on key card. Returns and NPB volume are rampant, and of course it is, there is no downside to having multiple eBay accounts and spamming cards you are invested in. Wondering how much longer this BS will go on, have to believe we will reach a tipping point.
