  • I'm thinking of selling on ebay, but it was suggested to try here first. I want the coins going to a "good home" as they have sentimental value. Thank you for any suggestions on how much to list for, or offers to buy :)

For any of the blue books with silver coins, calculate their face value and multiply by somewhere between 12x and 14x ...that should be a fair price for them right now.
For instance, if you had $30.00 face value of half dollars (60 of them), and used the 14x multiplier, the price would be $420.00

  • @jclovescoins thank you so much for this tip! I'm trying to get a grasp of what I have and this is super helpful :)

You'd do far better if you could take pictures of, perhaps, one page at a time so that folks could actually see the condition of the coins better.
