Run over by a railcar weighing 100 tons or so, obverse up, this is the result.
Dang! I would have never guessed that.

It is a medal, not a coin, but is is a USA Mint medal struck in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, so it should count for something.
It is now the 220th anniversary of the permanent capital In DC where these coins or medals we collect, get approved by Congress. These had a rough looking sort of sandblasted, or worn looking matte finish, even as struck, and this one has a bit of tarnish, but they are hard to find in great shape, uncleaned.
And to stay on the patriotic theme, here is a medal struck to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the mass settlement into Colorado following the discovery of gold in 1859 in Central City, once known as "The richest square mile on earth". The reverse commemorates the 1959 establishment of the US Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs. This was struck at the Mint in Philadelphia.

I like it. Was this a set up strike or just worn.

Here is a non-partisan 46 commemorative

Here are a few I have shown before where the toning is dominated by blue.

PCGS MS62.
Signed M. & S. (George T. Morgan and John R. Sinnock), though the reverse shown below is likely Sinnock and the obverse would have been Morgan.
Great looking Franklin!
